The Geneva Film Commission is a strategic initiative launched by the Canton and City of Geneva, led by the Geneva Tourism & Convention Foundation. Its mission is to support producers, directors and film crews in bringing their projects to life, making Geneva an attractive, welcoming and competitive filming destination.

1. The Geneva Film Office
Part of the Geneva Tourism & Convention Foundation, the Geneva Film Office is your dedicated one-stop shop for all things related to filming in Geneva. Its mission is to:
- Support you at every stage of your shoot: from permit applications to logistics and on-the-ground coordination.
- Connect you with the right partners: service providers, crew, institutions and more.
- Promote Geneva’s audiovisual ecosystem at trade shows, festivals and industry events, both in Switzerland and abroad.
2. The Cash Rebate Support Mechanism (Launching in 2026)
In 2026, the Geneva Film Commission will introduce an incentive-based financial scheme in the form of a cash rebate, managed by an allocation committee.
This mechanism will reimburse eligible expenses incurred within the Canton of Geneva – a practical tool designed to boost the financial viability of your productions while giving you access to a vibrant and highly skilled professional ecosystem.
